Job summary

Soliant Education seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services in a supportive school setting near Yorktown, VA for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week across elementary and secondary levels.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, develop IEPs, deliver direct and consultative therapy, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in Virginia.

Job description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing high-quality speech-language therapy services in a supportive school setting near Yorktown, VA. This contract opportunity is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist committed to enhancing communication and learning for children at the elementary and secondary level. Serving approximately 68 students, you’ll play a vital role for the duration of the 2026-2027 school year, starting tentatively in August and working full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Active SLP license; Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience in school settings (elementary, secondary), pediatric caseloads, or teletherapy delivery preferred.
• Familiarity with PreK–5 and secondary populations, including self-contained or preschool classrooms.
• Ability to work effectively across 1-2 school placements.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs.
• Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with school or healthcare experience welcome.
