Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role near Oxford, MI, onsite at four nearby schools. You will visit one campus per day and manage a small caseload including students with general speech needs and mild cognitive/spectrum-related challenges.

Applicants should hold valid SLP licensure, with CCC preferred, and have school-based experience. The long-term placement runs through June 2027 with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.

Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication skills in a collaborative and welcoming school environment near Oxford, MI. As a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite, you’ll work with a manageable caseload across four nearby schools, visiting one school per day without the need to travel between locations during the day. Get to know approximately 10 students at each site, including those in general education with speech needs as well as individuals with mild cognitive or spectrum-related challenges needing speech therapy.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid SLP licensure, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred


• Previous experience in school-based speech-language services


• Strong collaboration and communication skills


• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans


• Confidence working with both general education students and those with mild special needs

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct speech-language therapy to assigned students in accordance with IEP goals


• Developing, monitoring, and updating IEPs and related documentation


• Conducting assessments and collaborating with school teams and families


• Consulting with teachers and other professionals to integrate interventions in the classroom


• Providing support and education to families on student progress
