Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders within a K-12 setting. You will collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.

This full-time role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid California SLP license, and school-based experience. CPR/health prerequisites apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
• Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program.
• Current CPR certification, TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate as required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct speech and language assessments in accordance with district policies and regulations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual communicative needs of students.
• Participate in IEP meetings to present assessment results and progress reports.
• Provide ongoing evaluation of students' progress toward IEP goals.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address speech and language needs.
• Plan and organize services at assigned school sites.
• Conduct professional development training for school staff and parents on speech and language pathology issues.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description: As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disabilities.
