Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Ventura, CA. The SLP will evaluate students and provide therapy services in the school setting according to each plan of care and physician orders.

Minimum requirements include active SLP licensure in the state, CCC-SLP preferred, and compliance with professional standards; CPR may be required, and health documentation must be current.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred or may be required by contract.
• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
