Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in Hartford, Wisconsin. The role focuses on evaluating students and delivering therapy in the school setting, with documentation aligned to each student’s plan of care.

The SLP will collaborate with school staff to implement goals, monitor progress, and adjust therapy as needed. This position requires active licensure and offers weekly pay, with benefits and support from Amergis.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and document therapy services per plan of care.
• Provide and monitor speech-language therapy in school settings.
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
