Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based travel assignment in Gresham, Oregon. You will evaluate students and deliver therapy according to each plan of care, documenting outcomes and progress for monthly reviews.

The role requires active SLP licensure in the state of assignment; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by contract. CPR and health screenings may be needed per contract.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR, TB/health screening as applicable by contract.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and progress assessments.
• Provide and document therapy services per plan of care and orders.
• Maintain compliance with licensure and district/state requirements.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
