Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a school setting. You will conduct student evaluations and deliver therapy services according to each plan of care and physician orders.

Minimum requirements include active state licensure as an SLP; CCC-SLP certification is preferred and may be required by state or contract. You must meet relevant standards, complete health screenings, and comply with regulations. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Job description

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
