Job summary

BlazerJobs is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a North Carolina school district on a full-time contract through the end of the school year. Two roles available: elementary K-5 in a traditional setting and a K-12 special education environment.

You will perform direct therapy, assessments, and collaborate with school teams to meet IEP goals. Ideal candidates hold NC SLP license and CCC, prefer school-based experience, and are skilled in AAC and adaptive

Qualifications

Contribute your expertise by delivering high-quality speech services in a vibrant, supportive school setting for the remainder of the school year. Two full-time roles are available: one in a traditional elementary school setting (grades K-5), and another in a specialized environment serving students with disabilities across K-12. Both positions offer a rewarding blend of direct therapy, assessments, and collaborative work with enthusiastic school teams.

What you'll bring:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license from the state of North Carolina


• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required


• School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with relevant student populations


• Proven skill with evaluations, developing and managing IEPs, and providing direct therapy


• Strong communication, organizational, and interdisciplinary teamwork abilities


• Sensitivity and adaptability when working with diverse student needs, including AAC and adaptive communication (for specialized setting)

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and evaluations as determined by student needs


• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs


• Deliver engaging direct therapy sessions in both group and individual formats


• Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust services for optimal outcomes
