Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks a Travel School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide expert speech-language services in a school setting. The role offers direct therapy, evaluations, and family consultations within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Job description

Role: Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for providing speech-language services in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations, deliver direct therapy to a caseload of up to 65 students, consult with staff and families, and participate in Committee on Special Education meetings.

Qualifications & Skills: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license in the state, and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) CCC certification. Preferred experience in pediatric or school settings, strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and community members.
