Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a school-based contract near Chesapeake, VA. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders while working closely with educators and families to foster student progress.

Eligibility includes Virginia licensure; CCC-SLP preferred, Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply, and a focus on data-driven outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Virginia.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.
• Experience in a school environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner’s needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create a supportive environment for student progress.
• Track progress through data collection and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and district standards.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development opportunities.
