Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract Speech-Language Pathologist to serve in a Sycamore, Illinois school. The role is 24 hours per week with a 13-week duration, starting ASAP, and a days shift of 8 hours.

The SLP will evaluate students, participate in IEP development, and collaborate with school staff. The candidate must hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with ISBE PEL, Illinois SLP license, ASHA certification, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess, screen, and evaluate students and share results with parents and school team.

Supplemental Health Care works with districts nationwide to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Sycamore, Illinois.

Qualifications:

• -Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Illinois SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

• $46.10 - $49.60 per hour
• 39-week contracts
• $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
• May be asked to supervise assistants
