Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy in Dixon, Illinois is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 42-week assignment at a school. The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an ASAP start and an 8-hour shift schedule.

The SLP will evaluate and treat students with expressive and receptive language delays, collaborate with families and other staff, and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
• Completed Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois.
• Current BLS certification.

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist:

• Speech and Language Pathologists will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and recommend services for students experiencing delays with expressive and receptive language skills, articulation/phonology, fluency and oral motor.
• Speech and Language pathologists will promote optimal function and engagement in meaningful activities.
• They will provide support to families, and collaborate with other disciplines, as needed in order to address goals and objectives as indicated in each student's IFSP or IEP.
• In compliance with state and local requirements, each therapist will be responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation regarding student services and subsequent needs.

Job Qualifications for the Speech Language Pathologist:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
• Completed Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Current Speech-Language Pathology License / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
