Work in a K-12 grade setting, providing therapy, evaluation, and possible SLPA supervision across three schools within a half mile of each other. You will support a caseload of 55-60 students, deliver direct services, and collaborate with district staff and families to enhance student communication and learning outcomes1.A current Connecticut SLP license is required. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, SchoolMaster’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
