Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a contract assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The role is a 41-week contract with 37.5 hours per week, typically 7.5-hour daytime shifts, assigned to a school-based setting.

The candidate will join an experienced interdisciplinary team, provide skilled SLP services, and meet licensure requirements. Travel/locational flexibility, license support and competitive benefits accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as an SLP or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a care plan for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy.
• Set realistic goals for patients to develop/recover communication and swallowing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech therapy interventions in accordance with orders.
• Collaborate with school team to maximize student outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
