Serve K-5 students in a school setting with a 50-student caseload, providing MTSS support, screenings, evaluations, direct services, and IEP goal delivery. You will participate in initial placement and re-evaluation IEP meetings, handle data-progress monitoring, Medicaid billing, and enter therapy notes into ECATS. Knowledge of ECATS is preferred. A North Carolina Department of Education SLP license is required. School-based experience and strong collaboration skills are recommended. Asheboro offers a welcoming community, access to outdoor recreation, and a vibrant downtown with dining and cultural events.

Required Qualifications

• Speech/Language Pathologist, School Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
• State License is Required to Start the Assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
• Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
