Socket.dev is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school-based team serving K-5th grade students in Wilmington, Delaware for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, onsite role with 35 hours per week, running from August 24 to June 16, and a competitive salary of $60,000–$80,000 per year.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Active Delaware SLP License required.
  • ASHA certification/CCC-SLP preferred.
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for helping students reach their communication and academic goals.

We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school-based team serving K-5th grade students in Wilmington, Delaware for the upcoming school year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with children, collaborating with educators, and providing meaningful therapy services in a school environment.

Position Highlights
  • Full-time SLP position

  • Serve students in Kindergarten through 5th grade

  • 35 hours per week

  • Contract dates: August 24 – June 16

  • Competitive salary of $60,000–$80,000

  • Anticipated caseload of approximately 40–50 students

  • Blended caseload featuring a variety of common pediatric communication disorders

  • Supportive and collaborative school environment

  • Agency SLPs are treated as an integral part of the school team

Caseload & Responsibilities

The SLP will work with a diverse caseload of approximately 40–50 students presenting with a range of communication needs, including:

  • Articulation and speech sound disorders

  • Receptive and expressive language delays

  • Fluency disorders

  • Other common pediatric communication disorders

Responsibilities will include providing individual and/or small-group speech therapy, developing and implementing IEP goals, completing required documentation, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with teachers, families, and other members of the educational team.
