Experience Champaign Urbana seeks a Social Worker at Thomas Paine Elementary School to promote and enhance the academic mission. This role requires a Master's Degree in social work and a valid Illinois School Social Work Certificate. Responsibilities include providing outreach to families, assessing and addressing students' social and emotional needs, and maintaining community ties. The position offers opportunities for additional compensation and is classified as exempt.

Qualificações

• Minimum Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work.
• Two years or more of school-based experience is preferred except in the case of a new Social Worker.
• Valid Illinois School Social Work Certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assertive outreach between students, parents, staff, and community agencies.
• Assess students for social work needs and address emotional needs.
• Provide crisis intervention for school-age children and families.
