Job summary

Soliant Health in the Denver area seeks a School Social Worker for a full-year contract to support students across grades from early childhood through high school.

You will deliver mental health counseling, assess needs, and implement plans to promote achievement while coordinating with families, educators, and community partners. Start date aligns with the academic year; credentialing and licensure must be current.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active Colorado Special Service Provider license for School Social Worker (birth-21).
• Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in a school setting.
• Knowledge of mental health interventions for children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to complete district credentialing including background check and fingerprinting.

Make a lasting difference in the lives of students in the greater Denver area through this rewarding, full-year contract role as a school social worker. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and community agencies to address barriers to learning and help students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students facing attendance issues, behavioral challenges, or emotional distress

• Keeping thorough case files, tracking progress and maintaining organized reports to identify patterns across individual and group cases
• Upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience working as a social worker in a school setting
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Active Colorado Special Service Provider license for School Social Worker (serving ages birth-21)
• Proven knowledge of mental health interventions and support strategies for children and adolescents
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to serve in varied assignments across grade levels and schools, as caseloads are determined by need
• Ability to complete all district credentialing, including background check and fingerprinting, prior to start
