Job summary

The Evelyn Hamblen Center is hiring an Instructional Support Cert or License/Social Worker to join the Gaines Alternative School and Hamblen Therapeutic Day School in Tennessee. The role focuses on coordinating Mental Health referrals through MTSS and supporting students with behavioral needs.

You will participate in family engagement, manage outside referrals, and help provide ESE services. PCM and Ukeru training will be provided by the District to support staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Track Mental Health referrals through MTSS for both Gaines Alternative School and Hamblen Therapeutic Day School.
• Assist in family engagement activities with the community.
• Manage outside referrals for students and coordinate with district services.
• Assist in providing ESE services to students with behavioral needs.

About the Site

The Evelyn Hamblen Center is an alternative site that serves two schools; the Gaines Alternative School, a program that serves students who have committed level 4 infractions of the District code of conduct, and Hamblen a Therapeutic Day School that serves students with behavioral issues, including students with both EBD and ASD exceptionalities.

Job Responsibilities

The applicant for this position will work with both schools to track Mental Health referrals through the MTSS process, assist in family engagement activities, manage outside referrals for students, and assist in providing ESE services. PCM and Ukeru training will be provided by the District.
