Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a Certified School Social Worker to join our team in Edison, New Jersey for a full-time, temporary opportunity. Setting: School-Based Services; Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

Pay is $45–$48 per hour, with excellent compensation, guaranteed hours for assignments, and benefits including PTO and a referral program. Start ASAP through December 2026, with ongoing school-based support and collaboration with educators and families.

Qualifications

• LCSW or LMSW licensure required.
• NJ Department of Education school certification required.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and support to students dealing with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' academic and personal needs.
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support at-risk students.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on coping strategies and emotional well-being.
