ConnectedHealth is seeking a School Sign Language Interpreter to provide instructional sign language interpretation for students in a school setting. This 36-week contract in Surprise, AZ supports inclusive education and improves learning outcomes for diverse students.

You will interpret during instructional activities, collaborate with educators, and ensure clear communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and staff while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Completion of an Interpreter Training program.
• Minimum 1 year instructional interpretation experience in a school environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Social Security Card.
• CPR certification from an accredited agency (in person).
• First Aid certification from an accredited agency (in person).
• Strong communication skill set.
• Adaptability to school environments.
• Compliance with all facility and safety protocols.
• Ability to maintain required certifications and clearances.

You have at least one year school interpreting experience. You hold a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card. You possess CPR and First Aid certifications from accredited agencies
