AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services SLPA for a travel assignment in Killeen, Texas. You will assist licensed SLPs in schools, support IEPs, and help students develop communication skills in a collaborative educational setting.

This 13-week, 37 hours/week gig runs August 17, 2026 through May 27, 2027, with 12-hour days and in-person duties. Eligible candidates will hold a Bachelor's in SLP or related, and be licensed as an SLPA in Texas.

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-language pathology/ Communications Sciences and Disorders.
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist - Assistant by the Texas Department of Licensing Regulation (TDLR)

• Assist speech-language pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting.
• Implement speech-language programs or activities as planned and directed by licensed SLPs.
• Work with classroom teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students.
• Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for maturity level and interests of students.
