St. Moritz Security Services is seeking a School Security Officer for a Rockford, IL site. This front-line role focuses on maintaining a secure school environment, patrolling premises, monitoring access, and assisting staff and students.

The position offers Monday–Friday on 1st shift with a standard wage of $17 per hour. Requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, and a 20-hour IL security training certificate, plus background checks and U.S. work authorization.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years old or older required.
• 20-hour IL security training certificate required.
• Background check and drug screening clearance needed.
• Authorization to work in the United States required.

Responsabilidades

• Patrolling hallways, stairwells, entrances and school grounds.
• Monitor visitors and control access to the building.
• Watch security cameras and respond to suspicious activity.
• Assist students, staff and visitors.
• Report incidents and document patrols.
• Support school administrators during emergencies or disciplinary situations.
• Operate metal detectors and other security equipment when required.
