Job summary

American Security & Investigations in Saint Paul, MN is hiring a Lead Security Officer to patrol and protect campus facilities. The role offers a standard full-time schedule (Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) with a wage of $21.25 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and successful background checks.

Onsite duties include patrolling, monitoring for hazards, enforcing rules, and rapid response to alarms.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years old.
• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English
• You must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required
• Be able to meet physical requirements including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR
• Previous security experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Patrolling buildings, facilities, or work sites
• Investigating and reporting hazards or suspicious circumstances
• Securing doors and windows
• Enforcing rules and regulations
• Responding to alarms
• Work alone or in a team across multiple buildings during onboarding and supervision by the Account Manager and Area Manager
