SBH Career is seeking a reliable School Route Driver to handle morning pickup routes and/or afternoon dismissal routes in Brooklyn, the Five Towns, and Crown Heights. A valid driver\'s license is required, and candidates should be familiar with local routes and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes punctuality, safe driving, and clear communication with families and staff, with part-time hours and compensation based on experience. Morning and/or afternoon shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean and safe driving record preferred.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
• Familiar with Brooklyn, Crown Heights, and the Five Towns.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Previous school transportation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled morning pickups and/or afternoon dismissal transportation.
• Safely transport passengers between designated pickup and drop-off locations.
• Follow an established daily route and schedule.
• Arrive at pickup locations on time and maintain consistent attendance.
• Ensure passengers enter and exit the vehicle safely.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with families and staff.
• Monitor traffic and road conditions and plan accordingly to maintain the schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle.
• Follow all applicable traffic and transportation safety requirements.
• Communicate promptly regarding delays, route issues, or other concerns.
