Job summary

ADAPT Community Network in Manhattan is seeking a full-time School Registered Nurse to support our early childhood education program. The RN will provide high-quality health services, conduct health assessments, administer medications, and coordinate care with families and school staff to ensure student safety.

Join a mission-driven nonprofit team with a 8am-3pm schedule, school calendar pay, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. NY RN license, pediatric experience, and G-tube familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in New York with current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably pediatrics or school-based.
• Experience with G-tube feeding is required.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and computer-based documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide health assessments and arrange medical referrals.
• Administer prescribed medications safely and document storage.
• Train staff on first aid, infection control, and vital signs.
• Maintain medical records and confidentiality for each student.
• Coordinate transportation to medical appointments as needed.
