Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the school setting, providing one-to-one care or supporting a multi-needs classroom. The role requires an active RN license; LPNs may be considered. Candidates should have 2+ years of nursing experience, with pediatrics or special needs experience preferred.

Responsibilities include managing G-tube feedings, seizures, CGM and diabetic care, suction and trach skills. Bus transport with the student may be required.

Qualifications

• RN license required; LPN considered as alternative.
• 2+ years nursing experience; 1 year pediatrics/special needs preferred.
• Autism and behavior experience preferred.
• G-tube feeding, seizure meds, diabetic care, CGM, suction and trach skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (traach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizures, diabetes care).
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient.
