SCHOOL REGISTERED NURSE

Qualifications: NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing along will NYS Nursing Certification acceptable; Master’s Degree and RN Certification preferred).

Experience: Experience in working with children ages 12-15 in a school setting preferred. Must possess knowledge of school medical and safety procedures; Ability to administer medication for diabetic students is amust; Knowledge of trauma-informed practices; Expected to follow all health related procedures and mandates issued by NYSDOH and the Wyandanch Union Free School District; Cultural competence and familiarity with the Wyandanch School Districtand its surroundingcommunity a plus.

Duration: 2026-2027 School Year
