Job summary

Amergis in Raleigh, NC is seeking a School Registered/Certified Behavior Technician to implement behavioral intervention plans in a school setting and support educational services for students with special needs.

You will work 37.5 hours weekly on a contract basis, earning $23 per hour, with supervision by a BCBA/BCABA to ensure ABA services are applied effectively.

Qualifications

• RBT certification and/or CBT license as applicable per state/contract.
• Supervised by client BCBA or BCABA.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience preferred.

The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works toimplement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Registered/Certified Behavior Techniciancan support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeuticservices designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/orState Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable perstate/contract)
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related fieldpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray ifapplicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
