Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Registered/Certified Behavior Technician in Cohasset, MA. This contract-full-time role offers 35 hours weekly at $28 per hour, with positions focused in school settings and ABA-supported services.

You will implement behavioral intervention plans, support educational objectives, and collaborate with BCBA-supervised teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care to children and adults with special needs.

Qualifications

• RBT certification and/or CBT license required.
• Supervised by BCBA or BCABA.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field.
• CPR certification current.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate current per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral intervention plans as part of ABA services.
• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to reach goals.
• Support supervision and ABA program implementation by a BCBA.

The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works toimplement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Registered/Certified Behavior Techniciancan support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeuticservices designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/orState Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable perstate/contract)
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related fieldpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray ifapplicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
