Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a School Registered/Certified Behavior Technician to implement behavioral intervention plans in a school setting in Bridgeport, CT. This contract-full-time role requires RBT certification or CBT licensure as applicable and supervision by a BCBA/BCABA, with potential for one year's experience in the field.

The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works toimplement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Registered/Certified Behavior Techniciancan support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeuticservices designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/orState Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable perstate/contract)


• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA


• One year relevant experience preferred


• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related fieldpreferred


• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice


• Current CPR if applicable


• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray ifapplicable


• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)


• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements


• Must be at least 18 years of age
