Action Behavior Centers in Denver, CO is seeking a School Readiness Behavior Therapist to work with children ages 5 to 12 in play-based ABA therapy. You will follow treatment plans, collect simple data, and collaborate with your team.

Responsibilities include staying active during sessions, maintaining a safe space, and supporting a mission-driven team. Prior experience not required; RBT certification can be obtained within 20 days of hire. This is a full-time role with guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
• High school graduate or higher
• Comfort with active, play-based therapy sessions
• Reliable and punctual attendance

• Schedule: 12:00 pm–6:30 pm Mon–Fri, 9 am–12 pm every other Saturday

Pay (determined by education and ABA experience)

• High School / Associate’s Degree: $20–$24 per hour
• Bachelor’s Degree: $20–$25.50 per hour
• Master’s Degree: $20–$28 per hour

What You’ll be Doing

• Work one‑on‑one with children aged 5 to 12 years using play‑based ABA therapy
• Follow personalized treatment plans, collect simple data, and communicate with your team
• Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands‑on activities
• Stay active during sessions, moving constantly to stay engaged with children
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe therapy space
• Be part of a supportive, mission‑driven team that celebrates progress and growth
• Schedule: 12:00 pm‑6:30 pm Mon‑Fri, 9 am‑12 pm every other Saturday
• Position is full‑time
• Location: 331 West 104th Avenue, Suite 331E, Denver, CO, 80234

• Experience that’s a PLUS (but not required): childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor), mental health roles (QMHP, behavioral health technicians), camp counselors, paraprofessionals, caregivers, life skill assistants, SPED teachers

Job Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs
• Sit, stand, crouch, squat, and move quickly with young children
• Get on and off the floor frequently
• Maintain an active pace throughout the day
• Keep therapy spaces clean, organized, and safe
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
