Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist to join a local school on a contract assignment in New York. The schedule runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm and the position is contract-based.

The PT will be responsible for applying the organization’s vision and mission in daily performance, including safe patient handling and CPR/First Aid related techniques as taught.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree or master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited school.
• Licensed with NYS Department of Education, or eligible for licensure (temporary permit).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push and pull students in wheelchairs, lift, bend, squat, turn in the knees, pivot and grasp with both hands to safely perform techniques.
• Valid NYS driver's license deemed acceptable by our insurance carrier.
