Job summary

Yorktown, United States — We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join a dynamic educational team in Gloucester, Virginia. This role focuses on supporting student well-being, learning, and behavior to help children succeed.

You will conduct assessments, collaborate on IEPs, provide counseling, and consult with teachers and families. A license and credential in School Psychology are required, with at least six months of recent related experience.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a School Psychologist.
• Certification in School Psychology (initial or continuing).
• Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent relevant experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments in response to referrals from educators and administrators.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, emotional, and social concerns.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff on psycho-educational matters impacting student performance and well-being.

Education

Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field

Certification in School Psychology (initial or continuing)
