Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree completed; valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate certificate.
• WA State Patrol background check completed; employee pays cost.
• Knowledge of current State and Federal laws pertaining to education of students with disabilities.
• Experience/training in positive behavioral supports and CPI or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, cognitive, and behavioral assessments for students from pre-K through 21 with outcomes-focused intervention.
• Lead Building Assessment Team and conduct Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Case manage student evaluations and participate in intakes.
• Provide individual and group therapy and support social skills groups.
• Support teachers with daily social skills and MTSS/PBIS implementation.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists to improve student outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and supervise interns/practicum students as assigned.
• Participate in state, district testing requirements and ongoing professional development.
