Job summary

ESC of Eastern Ohio is seeking a School Psychologist in Canfield, Ohio. The position is an initial one-year contract with board-determined days and terms per the CBA. Compensation includes salary, insurance, and fringe benefits based on education, experience, and responsibility.

Requirements include an Educational Specialist degree or equivalent in School Psychology and an ODE license or equivalent. Reports to the Supervisor of School Psychology and supervises a School Psychology Intern.

Qualifications

• Ohio Department of Education license in School Psychology or meet ODE requirements.
• Ability to promote positive relations and professional image.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Supports MTSS and PBIS teams; collaborates with teachers on instructional strategies.
• Understands child development and diverse disabilities; promotes positive behavior.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary evaluations and ETR processes, with IEP input.
• Creates written evaluation reports with educational recommendations for IEP.
• Communicates results to educational teams and parents; supports eligibility decisions.
