The School District of Philadelphia seeks a School Psychologist to provide psychological services for students eligible for special education or gifted services. The role includes evaluating cognitive, academic, and social‑emotional development using non-biased testing and observation, and offering consultative support to schools.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist in program development, and help implement pre‑assessment and intervention strategies for referred students,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology from an accredited college/university.
• Four years of professional experience in child psychology.
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist certificate.

Responsabilités

• Conduct evaluations of cognitive, academic, and social-emotional development of students.
• Administer psychological and educational tests to identify differences in students.
• Participate in the multi-disciplinary team process and prepare placement recommendations.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and outside agencies regarding services and IEPs.
