Job summary

Brevard Public Schools in Viera, FL seeks a School Psychologist to perform psychological testing and evaluation of students and to provide resources across Pre-K to Secondary schools. This is an 11-month contract with 8 hours per day.

Ideal candidates hold a doctorate with a 1200-hour internship or NASP/APA accredited specialist program, NASP credential or Florida certification, and a valid driver’s license, with preference for 2 years public-school experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in school psychology with 1200-hour internship (600 hours in school).
• NASP or APA accredited specialist-level program.
• National NASP certification or NASP credential.
• Florida School Psychologist certification OR NASP credential.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Two years public-school experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological testing and evaluation of students.
• Provide resources to Pre-K, Elementary and Secondary schools.

Education

Doctorate in School Psychology

NASP/APA Accredited Specialist Program

NASP Certification / Nationally Certified School Psychologist

Florida School Psychologist Certification

Valid State Driver’s License
