Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time, 36-hour-per-week backfill position supporting K-12 students in a vibrant school setting. This in-person role collaborates with educational teams to promote student success.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, developing interventions, participating in IEP meetings, consulting with teachers and caregivers, providing crisis counseling, and maintaining confidential records in line with district and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience with K-12 students.
• Proficiency with psychological assessments, data interpretation, and interventions in a school setting.
• VOCO experience and onboarding preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practices.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Prior experience working with K-12 students
• Proficiency with psychological assessments, data interpretation, and interventions in a school setting
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Virtual experience is required; candidates with prior VOCO experience and onboarding are strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver timely, accurate assessments for students identified with a range of academic, social, behavioral, or emotional needs
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
• Consult with educators and caregivers to create supportive learning environments
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as necessary
• Keep thorough, confidential records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
