Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Nassau, NY is seeking a School Psychologist to conduct evaluations for children aged 3-21 across homes, clinics, preschools and community settings.

This role supports families within a collaborative pediatric therapy team, maintains records with HIPAA compliance, and requires NYS School Psychologist certification and NYS Bilingual Extension.

Travel to evaluation sites is expected; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and professional supervision.

Come and join a team of passionate therapists providing excellent pediatric therapy. We specialize in conducting evaluations and providing ongoing services in homes, community, and clinic settings. Achieve Beyond is centered around a culture of collaboration and support, to ensure our services are of the highest quality and adhere to our strong ethical standards. We currently offer ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, and Physical therapy as well as Special Education/SEIT services. We serve children and families in the metro New York area (all 5 boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley, Long Island and Albany), Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware.

Location

Nassau County (evaluations available throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties).

Responsibilities For a School Psychologist

• Provide evaluations to children aged 3-21 years old in a natural setting.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to: driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate

Per evaluation $150 - $250 per eval.
