Job summary

Mount Desert Island Regional School System, AOS 91 is seeking a School Psychologist for PK-12 in a full-time role serving multiple schools. Maine State Certification 093 is required. Pay range: $90,000 - $117,000 based on verified experience.

Qualifications

• Maine State Certification 093 is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological evaluations including cognitive, behavioral, adaptive and functional assessments.
• Provide supervision of student programming with a behavioral component.
• Provide supervision and ongoing coaching of staff in behavior plan implementation and data collection (CPS).
• Develop and facilitate in-service workshops and training for staff relating to social, emotional, behavioral needs of children and adolescents (trauma informed practices).
• Suggest changes or interventions to better meet students’ needs.
• Provide consultation to staff on students to assist in educational programming.
• Provide observations, behavior plans, data analysis and Functional Behavioral Assessments as needed.
