Job summary

Gobravvo seeks a School Psychologist (NCSP) for Des Plaines, IL for the 2025-26 school year. This full-time role focuses on assessment, consultation, and collaboration to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid School Psychologist Certificate
• Eligible for Illinois ISBE-PEL state license
• Experience with psychological and educational assessment instruments
• Strong relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate psychological test batteries for students referred to special education
• Document due process and file timely assessment reports
• Consult with parents and teachers to interpret test results and develop actionable strategies
• Provide staff development on assessment, behavior, child development, confidentiality and due process
• Support staff and parents in understanding external assessment reports
• Participate as a member of IEP team meetings
• Liaise between the school and external agencies or examiners
• Offer guidance on psychological and mental health issues to staff
• Contribute to promoting positive staff morale and school goals
