Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for the full school year, split between Vernon Hills and Lake Villa, IL. You will support students through evaluations, consultations, and direct psychological services.

Responsibilities include psychoeducational evaluations, IEP participation, collaboration with educators and families, and maintaining compliant documentation. This role serves Early Childhood through 8th Grade populations with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Previous school-based experience preferred.

We're seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school team for the full school year! This position is split between Vernon Hills and Lake Villa, providing a unique opportunity to support students through evaluations, consultations, and direct psychological services.

Position Details

• Location: Vernon Hills & Lake Villa, IL
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 7.5 hours per day (lunch included)
• Duration: Full School Year

Caseload & Responsibilities

• Split assignment between two locations:
  • Vernon Hills: Complete ECAT evaluations and attend related meetings (.5 FTE)
  • Lake Villa: Serve as a traditional School Psychologist (.5 FTE)
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
• Provide consultation and recommendations for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
