ProCare Therapy is seeking a contracted School Psychologist to support high school students district-wide in San Mateo, CA. The ideal candidate holds a valid School Psychologist credential and has experience with psychoeducational assessments, report writing, and developing IEPs.

Qualifications

  • Skilled in psychoeducational assessments, interpreting results, and writing comprehensive reports
  • Strong background in counseling techniques and creating individualized interventions
  • Able to consult with teachers, parents, and support teams to develop IEPs and behavioral plans
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students' needs
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions for high school students
  • Collaborate with educators and families to provide tailored interventions and strategies
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed across the district
  • Assist with school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and academic achievement
  • Maintain detailed records and participate in meetings with multi-disciplinary teams
