Job description

This part-time School Psychologist position (20 hours per week) offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential psychological services to K-12 students at two elementary schools in Denton, TX. The role focuses on supporting students through assessments, evaluations, report writing, and participation in ARD meetings, contributing to their academic and emotional success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
  • Prepare detailed psychological reports that inform educational decisions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student development.
  • Maintain compliance with state and district policies and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Valid Texas Psychologist License required.
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred.
  • Strong skills in psychological assessment and report writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Location and Schedule
  • Position is located onsite at Reeves Elementary School and Hodge Elementary School in Denton, TX.
  • Contract term runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
  • Part-time commitment of approximately 20 hours per week; full-time availability may be discussed.
