Central Jersey College Prep Charter School seeks a School Psychologist to participate in evaluating and placing students with special needs. You will administer tests, interpret results, and help develop individualized education plans while serving as a case manager for students requiring services.

Responsibilities include collaborating with parents, teachers, and community groups, observing classrooms, and supporting ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid NJ Educational Services Certificate or School Psychologist Endorsement.
• Work authorization in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the evaluation, classification and placement of all pupils with special needs.
• Administer, score and evaluate standard psychological tests for assessment purposes.
• Interpret results and assist in development of individualized education plans.
• Serve as a case manager and maintain case records.
• Assist in in-service programs and parent seminars.
• Observe pupils in classrooms and school settings.
• Consult with parents, staff and community groups on child development and mental health topics.
• Perform duties as a member of the child study team and maintain professional competence.
