Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a school-based role in Gastonia, NC for the 26/27 school year. This is a full-time position supporting a local school district with a passion for helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

You'll join a clinically led team that provides strong support, planning, and growth opportunities, including a dedicated clinical network, NASP-aligned CEUs, and a nationwide placement framework.

Qualifications

• Active licensure: DPI Licensure & LPA Licensure through the NC Psychology Board.
• Graduate degree (Ed.S. or higher) from NASP-approved or equivalent program.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and participating in IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, behavioral).
• Collaborate with IEP teams, school staff, and families to support student success plans.
• Complete documentation, report writing, and eligibility meetings (remote documentation flexibility where permitted).
• Provide consultation and evidence-based recommendations to school teams.
• Work as part of a clinically led team focused on student outcomes and service quality.
