Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters of School Psychology from an accredited school/program.
• A Professional Educators License (PEL) is required.
• Previous school experience in working with culturally diverse students, families and communities is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized psychological work in an educational setting to enable students to achieve optimal learning.
• Provides direct and consultative psychological services to parents, students and school staff.
• Serves on student support teams and special education committees for psychological input.
• Selects and administers age-appropriate assessment methods to determine student needs.
• Develops and implements intervention plans and contributes to IEP development and placement decisions.
