Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in school psychology is required.
• Alaska type C special services certificate with endorsement for school psychologist is required.
• Preferred: experience with IEPs, collaboration to support IEP needs, threat assessment.
• Knowledge of RTI, 504 Plans, and appropriate curriculum adaptations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates students ages 3 through 21 by gathering information to determine educational needs.
• Administers, scores, and interprets tests and progress monitoring.
• Interprets results and communicates findings to students, parents, and staff.
• Works with teachers, parents and principals to set priority learning and behavioral objectives.
• Develops, implements and evaluates school and classroom interventions.
