Job summary

Blast Intermediate Unit 17 BLaST - Bradford County is seeking a School Psychologist (Full Time or Part Time) to evaluate students referred for special education services and participate in IEP teams. The role involves comprehensive assessments, reporting, and collaboration with families, school staff, and outside agencies.

The position requires state certification as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania, a master’s degree, and the ability to travel to different sites as an itinerant education

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in school psychology or related field.
• Pennsylvania Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist.
• Ability to travel itinerantly for school placements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive assessments of referred students and prepares evaluation reports within state timelines.
• Participates in IEP conferences and collaborates on goals and behavior plans.
• Interprets assessment results to school personnel, parents and other professionals; makes data-driven recommendations.
• Provides professional training to district or intermediate unit staff as needed.
• Serves as a referral source for additional services and coordinates with outside agencies.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license and travels as required.
